Barbara
Strachan, founder of Video Links Productions
[formerly Family Video Links], lives in Victoria,
BC. She is a retired elementary school principal,
with extensive experience in the school library
field as well as public libraries. She is a
member of the Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce, the Home Office Support Team and Vancouver Island Women's Business Network.
Barbara
is a former member of the board of the Victoria Women’s
Transition House, on the executive of the Retired
Teachers of Ontario (Vancouver Island District 47), an ambassador
for the Family Caregiver’s Network Society,
and a volunteer for the Octa Collective, supporting
the artsREACH program in the schools of the
area. She has a daughter who is a teacher and
three grandchildren in Ontario.
Children's
literacy is a particular concern of Barbara’s.
Each year, Video Links Productions donates to
the children’s literacy organizations
Raise a Reader (local) and CODE (international).
Tony Davis, video editor, provides the technical support required to produce the Video Links Productions' DVDs that are praised and valued by appreciative clients. |
